ABOUT THE ARTIST

Susan Anthony is a photographer born in Brooklyn, New York, whose work explores the beauty amongst the rural decay of Upstate New York. Anthony received her MFA from the University of California and her BA degree from Cooper Union. Anthony has shown her work throughout New York and the United States, including exhibitions at Mass MOCA, Center for Photography at Woodstock NY, and Sanctuary for Independent Media, Troy, NY. Anthony splits her time between her home in Columbia County, where she executes her photography, and in downtown Manhattan, where she has lived and worked for many years.
