Slag Gallery proudly announces Exuberant Bodies, the first solo exhibition of work by Ariane Lopez-Huici at the gallery. The show will feature a selection of compelling photographic work dating from the mid 1990s to the late 2010s. Her work concentrates on the human body, disrupting the conventional canon of beauty. Accentuating the shadowy areas of human experience, Lopez-Huici uses black and white photography with pronounced grain and deep blacks. Exhibition text by Barry Schwabsky
