This January during Maison & Objet, British designer Tom Dixon (CBE) unveils a special curatorial project at Galerie RX&SLAG in Paris.
One of the leading contemporary art galleries in Paris and New York, RX&SLAG is renowned for its museum-quality exhibitions, large-scale sculptural installations and its commitment to presenting bold, thought-provoking international artists.
Situated in the heart of the Marais, the city’s hub for contemporary art, design and cultural experimentation, the exhibition brings together a selection of striking artworks under the working title Art & Industrie.
As guest curator, Tom explores his long-standing obsession with materials, manufacturing, and the fertile ground between art and industry. For this exhibition, he creates a bold dialogue between RX&SLAG’s contemporary artists and a selection of his own designs, spanning new pieces from the SS26 collection, including GROOVE, and vintage works from his personal archives.
The exhibition will feature major works from RX&SLAG’s represented artists, including:
• Hermann Nitsch
• Joao Trevisan
• Christian Lapie
• Anna Malagrida
• Tamara Kostianovsky
• Alain Kirili
• Kim Guiline
