João Trevisan is a São Paulo-based Brazilian painter and sculptor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law and geography. Exhibiting steadily since 2014, he has shown work most recently at Central Galeria, São Paulo (2020); Karla Osório, Brasilia (2019); Foro. Space, Bogotá (2019); Terra, a thematic group show at Central Galeria, São Paulo (2020); and O Sertão, a thematic group show at the National Museum, Brasilia (2020/2021). Trevisan’s work is included in numerous Brazilian public collections, including Casa da Cultura da América Latina, Brasília; MAR- Museu de Arte do Rio, Rio de Janeiro; MUN - Museu Nacional da República, Brasília; and MARP-Museu de Arte de Ribeirão Preto, Ribeirão Preto. His first solo museum exhibition João Trevisan: Body and Soul opens in April at the Museum of Sacred Art of São Paulo.
