LaTonia Allen earned her BFA in Arts at Texas Southern University (2015) where she received a Kadir Nelson Graphics Award and is a recent MFA graduate from the School of Visual Arts (2020). Over the past two years she has had three solo exhibitions at District Art Gallery (Texas), The Houston Museum of African American Culture (Texas) and Wallworks Art Gallery (New York), and has been in group exhibitions at the SVA Chelsea Gallery and Beyond Studios (New York), with one up and coming at The Painting Center (2020)
