Lukasz Patelczyk was born in 1986 in Wejherowo, Poland. He works in Warsaw and Bydgoszcz.
He Graduated in 2012 from the Academy of Fine Art in Gdańsk and started his fascination of the abstract impression of real life. Patelczyk is at the forefront of the young Polish art scene and is well-liked among private collectors and state museums. His artistry has succeeded by winning Poland's "Young Art Compass" in 2020, the most reliable art ranking for artists under 35 in Poland.
In Patelczyk works of art, his combination of realistic representation of nature with abstract elements has impacted the Poland art scene and gained international attraction. In the last of his series, he experiments with painting his compositions and making them colorful to be reminiscent of stained glass. Patelczyk artworks are mesmerizing renditions of nature that is expressing an impressionistic outlook of the environment around us. His art pieces are a part of the National Museum collection in Gdańsk and the private collectors of Poland and abroad.
